What We Do Best

Dynamite Gymnastics specializes in finding the perfect class for every student of any skill level and age (from 18 months old through adults). We break classes out by age because we understand the importance of socialization.

Once students achieve basic skills, they can request an assessment to move to advanced classes or team track.

Gymnastics Headstand Help

CLASSES

Looking for something super fun for your kids to do during days off from school and over the summer? Bring them to camp for a day full of flips, friends and fun. Days include rotations in the gym, free play, games and arts & crafts. We are a nut-free gym, so please plan snacks and lunches accordingly. Summer camp requires additional health forms.

PARTIES

Birthday parties are a blast at Dynamite! Parties get exclusive use for the full first hour followed by 20 minutes in the party room and 10 more for cleanup and goodbyes. Imagine an entire gym filled with bars, beams, trampolines, and a huge space to celebrate his or her special day. Great for all ages and no experience necessary.

Who We Are

Dynamite is a family-owned and operated business located in Rockville, Maryland. We started this business with seven family members and now have over 50 staff members who support our mission to provide safe, quality instruction to all of our students.

What We Teach

Preschool 

Give your child a jumpstart on coordination, waiting turns, listening and developing a love of movement. Our preschool classes start as early as six months and help preschoolers build strength and motor planning as they learn super fun skills.

Gymfusion

Gymfusion combines Artistic Gymnastics and Trampoline & Tumbling where students learn skills on all of the equipment. Gymfusion consists of short rotations, learning air awareness on trampolines, tumbling, strength on bars, and balance on beam.

Artistic Gymnastics

 

Think Olympics. Students develop skills on bars, beam, vault and floor (tumbling) as they build balance, strength and confidence. Dynamite's focus on proper technique in a fun environment means that students learn skills while having a blast. 

Trampoline & Tumbling (TNT)

An up-and-coming competitive sport, T&T utilizes trampoline (now an Olympic sport), double-mini trampoline, and rod floor for power tumbling. Tumbling skills are critical for gymnastics, cheer, and dance. 

Tumbling at Bolt Parkour (next door)

This class focuses exclusively on tumbling skills including rolls, cartwheels, handstands and walkovers up to round offs, handsprings and flips. Proper progressions are necessary to develop a foundation for higher-level tumbling. 

Adult Gymnastics

Dynamite is now open for limited classes for adults. Our adult class invites students to learn new skills and perfect old ones. Our instructors will help you understand progressions, drills, and mechanics.
